Thomas Marion Vining, age 72, of Nicholls, GA passed away on August 4, 2010 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vining was born on July 13, 1938 to the late Thomas and Martha Mizell Vining. Mr. Vining was a radio operator in the US Navy serving in Korea and the Viet Nam Conflict. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 1651 Ronnie Walker Road, Nicholls, GA. Survivors include: wife: Maye Belle Minshew Vining, Nicholls, GA; daughter: Frances Marian Vining, San Diego, CA; son: Edward Eugene Vining, Brunswick, GA; stepsons: James William Pittman, Jr., Broxton, GA, Carl Pittman, Douglas, GA; stepdaughters: Maxine Grantham, Willacoochee, GA, Donna Merritt, Broxton, Ga, Delorise Pittman, Douglas, GA, Alma Soles, Elma Solomon, Nicholls, GA; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
