Michael W. O’Hearn of Brockton formerly of Hyannis, July 23, 2010. Born in Boston and raised and educated in Brockton, son of the late Walter and Terry (Whiffen) O’ Hearn. Following graduation from high school Michael proudly served our country in the US Army as a military police officer. He was an HVAC tech for several companies in and around the Brockton area. He will be remembered for his love of people, time spent at the beach and mountains and his passion for bodybuilding.
He is survived by his brothers Paul of SC and William of E. Bridgewater; his sisters Marie O’Hearn of Stoughton, Nancy Weeks of Brockton and Karen Hay of Middleboro; many nieces and nephews. And his longtime companion Vickie Vasialka of Brockton.
Funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church West Street Brockton, Friday August 6, 2010 at 11am. Followed by Inurnment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne at 1pm. Michael’s family would prefer donations to the DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
