Jennings, Ileana Elizabeth (Flood), 83, passed away Tuesday at Providence Nursing Home, New Albany, IN., with her family by her side.
She was born in Louisville, KY., January 26, 1927.
She was a faithful member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ, where she was an Elder, served on the Church Council,
and in many other capacities. Ileana was a longstanding and dedicated member of the Shively Womens Club, serving as President for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 53 years, Leslie W. Jennings Sr.
Survivors include her children: Leslie W. (Gail), Dennis W. (Linda), Gary L. (Connie), and Linda DeWitt (Louis).
8 Grandchildren: Craig, Todd (Kim),Scott (Heather),Keith (Betty), Howard (Jan), Chelsea Jennings, Amy Tompkins (Steve), Ashley Lawton (Asbury), and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at St. Stephen United Church of Christ, 1875 Farnsley Rd, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Mausoleum. Visitation will be 1 - 8 PM Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy and 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at church. Expressions of Sympathy: Missions Fund at her church or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
