Betty Lou (Wilson) Jackson, 56, of Peoria passed away at 2:15pm Monday Aug 2, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on Nov 5, 1953 in Peoria to Glen and Marjorie Nash Wilson. She married Darrell C. Jackson on June 27, 1973 in Peoria. He passed away on Jan 2, 2002 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by two sons Micheal king and Cody Jackson.
Surviving are her children Duane (Tracy) Jackson, Melissa Newport, Kimberly (Denise) Bennett, and Darrell (Rhonda) Jackson all of the Peoria area. She is further survived by her siblings Glen Wilson, Susan (Wilson) Jones, Tim Wilson and Scott Wilson.
Betty enjoyed spending time with her 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren two of which also preceded her in death. Betty enjoyed quilting, crafts, scrap booking, chatting online and discovering her family heritage.
Cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of life service beginning at 1pm on Sat Aug 7th at 210 Fahey Hollow Rd in East Peoria the home of her daughter Melissa. The family has asked that you bring a dish and beverage of your choice. Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund @ CEFCU to help offset final expenses.
