Ret.(CSM) Neil Seron Eskildson, 78, Clarksville, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with Full Military Honors..
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 31, 1932, in Wisconsin, the son of Seron Eskildsen and Mildred Rice Doll. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Joseph Doll and one sister Patricia Helmick.
He served thirty years in the Army. He had two tours in the Korean War, and numerous in Vietnam as a member of the Special Forces. He later earned a BS degree from APSU. He also retired from a second career as a Job Corps Director.
He is survived by his wife Yaeko Eskildson , two sons James (Michelle) Eskildson, Richard (Lori) Eskildson, two daughters Mildred (Scott) Vezeau, Helen (Jeff) Gross, two brothers James F. Eskildsen of Virginia, Robert Doll of West Virginia, eleven grandchildren Brad, Geneva, Savannah, Alex, Mikey, Sarah, Samuel, Jacob, Emily, Miranda and Adam.
Pallbearers will be military.
