Lillian Inman Neal, age 89, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her home in Water Valley, MS. She was born June 1, 1921 in Calhoun County, MS to the late Rudolfus and Myrtle Mays Inman. Mrs. Neal was a retired seamstress from Big Yank of Water Valley and she enjoyed quilting and canning. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Water Valley, a former member of the Young at Heart and the TEL Sunday School Class. She always looked forward to the home Sunday School classes.
The visitation will be on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 with Bro. Scott Neal and Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Burial will take place in the Bruce Cemetery in Bruce, MS with Chevy Crocker, Tony Rogers, Chris Pullen, Stewart Spence, Donnie Crocker and Cary Hart serving as pallbearers. Toy Neal, Billy Neal, Tyler Rogers, Bubba Jackson, Kyle Spence and Brady Dickey serving as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Neal is survived by two daughters, Jeanette (Joe) Dickey and Judy (Herbie) Rogers both of Water Valley, MS; two sons, Harry (Donna) Neal of Winona, MS and Laborn (Johnnie) Neal of Augusta, GA; two brothers, Gene Inman of San Diego, CA and Robert (Maxine) Inman of Arlington, TN; sixteen grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Neal in 1978; one son, Charles Benny Neal, Sr. in 2001; and three brothers, Woody Inman, Paul Inman, and James Inman.
