James Harold Pritchard, Sr., 67, of Enigma died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Larry Cone and Emory Cone will officiate with burial to follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Eldorado. Bobby Arnold, Lanny Franks, Jerry Conway, Wayne Harris, Jeff Thompson and Nicky Wiley will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Pritchard was born on October 3, 1942 in Tift County and was the son of Roscoe Pritchard and Ruth Bennett Pritchard, both deceased. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He also served in the National Guard.
Mr. Pritchard is survived by five sons, James H. Pritchard, Jr. of Enigma, Robbie Pritchard of Brookfield, David Pritchard of Enigma, Bobby Joe Pritchard of Florida and Billy Joe Pritchard of Florida; one daughter, Joanna Hope Aparicio of Brookfield; one sister, Sara Pritchard of Chula; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
