Dorothy A. (Maguire) Johnson, 79, a resident of North Easton and Dennisport, died at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, July 30. She was the wife of 56 years of Walter H. Johnson. Born and raised in Boston, she was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, Class of 1948 and the Burdett Business School. She was a resident of North Easton for the past 12 years after living in Stoughton for 44 years. She has also lived in Dennisport since 1979. Mrs. Johnson was an account representative for BayBank in Stoughton and Norwood for 18 years before retiring in 1997. In her free time she enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children, Steven H. Johnson and his wife Marianne and Linda M. O'Connor and her husband Jack all of North Easton and Mark E. Johnson and his wife Mary Jean of Mansfield. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
