Obituary

AUBURN-James W. Keddy, Sr., 93, died Friday, July 30 at Millbury Healthcare after a long illness.

His wife, Edith (McAtee) Keddy died in 1988. He leaves seven children, James W. Keddy, Jr. and John R. Keddy both of Worcester, Ceil Novelle of Shrewsbury, Janice Welcome of Lee, Virginia Pizzarella of Shrewsbury, Priscilla Ekberg of Dudley, Marcia Hansbury of Worcester, Kathleen Robbins af Kentucky and Deborah Pascarelli of Worcester; two brothers, John Keddy of Barre and Francis Keddy of Groveton, NH; three sisters, Myrtle Dwelly of Holden, Ruth Drolet of Oakham, and Alma Splaine of Barre; 24 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews. His son, Lawrence S. Keddy and his sister, Mildred Viitala predeceased him.

Mr. Keddy was born in Framingham the son of Ernest and Elizabeth (Dorsey) Keddy. He worked for many years at Rice Barton Co. as a supervisor before retiring. He was a former member of The Worcester Lodge of Elks #243. Mr. Keddy was an avid Red Sox fan and loved spending time with his family.
