
MANCHESTER-Laurea M. Paquin, 95, died July 29, 2010 at the home of her son Rene after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 21, 1915 the daughter of Maurice and Felicite (Langlois) Lariviere and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
She had owned and operated the Nearly New Shop for 20 years and retired from the State of NH Sweepstakes after 15 years.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a caring friend to all. She held membership in the Missionary of the Rosebush of the Precious Blood Monastery, the Catholic Woman’s Club of Holy Rosary Parish, Blue Army of Blessed Mother Mary, a Child of St. Padre peo and the secular Franciscan Order.
She enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting and making cards.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul E. Paquin July 3, 2008.
Members of her family include 2 sons, Rene Paquin of Manchester, Jean L. Paquin of Franklin, one daughter Diane Sanborn of Newport, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7 at 10 AM in Holy Rosary Church, Hooksett.
