Stefania M. (Lescynski) Olson, 87, of Carver formerly of Abington, died Thursday July 29th in the Brighman and Women’s Hospital after brief illness. She was the former wife of Warren H. Olson.
Stefania was born and brought up in Abington, daughter of the late Roman and Wladyslawa (Kalinowska ) Lescynski. She has been a Carver resident since 1986.
She was a graduate of Abington High School and attended secretarial school. She was a clerical office worker for over 20 years, for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Welfare Department in Brockton.
Stefania enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Jean Wallace and her husband Al of Carver, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; also several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Karen Olson and sister of the late Victor Lescynski and Helen Piascik.
Her services will be held on Monday August 2nd at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Internment will follow in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland.
