Donald Robert Trace
Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, Mr. Donald Robert Trace, 50, husband of Lita Trace of Martinez.
Mr. Trace was a native of Taft, CA, but lived in the Augusta area for the last thirty years. He was employed by BAE Systems as a manufacturing engineer and was formally employed by EZ-GO. Mr. Trace taught as an adjunct professor at Aiken Technical College teaching mechanical and engineering courses. He loved to fly and was a member of the Trenton Flyers. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Celeste Sanchez and Jennifer Pratt, mother: Winona Ward, brothers: Ronald Lou Trace and Ward Thomas Trace, sister: Laura Mae Newman. Mr. Trace was preceded in death by his father: Robert Trace.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Jim Joyner officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Trenton Flyers.
