Obituary

Corinne Julia (Kelleher) Allberg, 80, of Old Main St., Manville, died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Dorrence C. Allberg.
Born in Lackawanna, New York, she was a daughter of the late Dominic Pastorio and Evelyn V. Dubien Pastorio.
Corinne was a professional figure skater, a member of the Ice Skating Institute of America, from which she received many awards. After retirement from figure skating, Corinne went on to judge and coach professional figure skaters including Nancy Kerrigan and many others.
Additionally she was a power skating instructor for the Boston Bruins in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
After retiring from coaching she and her husband lived for many years in Chelmsford, MA, Bristol, RI., and Londonderry VT, as well as Springhill FL.. For the past five years she has resided with her son Kurt.
She is survived by her children, Terrence C. Allberg of Barre, MA, Keith C. Allberg of Weare, NH, Lawrence C. Allberg of Nashua, NH, and Kurt C. Allberg of Manville, RI. 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be Saturday at 6:00 pm in the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Visiting hours are Saturday from 5:00-6:00 pm prior to services. Burial will be private.
