Grafton/Worcester - Margaret Ann (Talbot) Johnson of Grafton, died on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the age of 76. She leaves her beloved husband of 54 years, Donald M. Johnson of Grafton; two daughters, Margaret A. Johnson and her partner Vicki Anderson of Lowell, and Heather T. Gabriel of Grafton; a sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia S. and George Cavanagh of FL; and three grandchildren - Benjamin H., Hope E., and Kristen E. Gabriel - all of Grafton. She also leaves several cousins, nephews, nieces, and many other dear friends. A brother, Walter Talbot, predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Margaret (Gazoorian) and Alexander W. Talbot. She was a graduate of North High School, Becker Junior College and attended Endicott College. Margaret was a former Assistant to the Headmaster of St. Mark's School in Southborough. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester and Stella Chapter Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S). Peggy loved gardening, golfing, cooking, playing Bridge with the "Good Friends Bridge Club," and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main Street, Worcester, Monday, August 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. A calling hour will be held immediately following the service. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main St., Worcester MA 01608. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, is directing arrangements.
