Douglas W. McKay, 64 of Derry, NH, died Monday, November 17, 2003 in his home. Mr. McKay was born in Somerville, MA on November 29, 1938, a son of the late Clarence and Alberta (Beckett) McKay. He was a resident of Derry for 24 years, formerly living in Agawam, MA. He was employed as an Administrator for IBM in Bedford, NH. He was a US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. (Clough) McKay of Derry, three sons, Kevin McKay of Goffstown, Barry McKay of Tewksbury, MA, James McKay of Salem, three grandchildren, two sisters, Elaine Fiala of Kenniwick, WA, Roberta McDaniel of Malden, MA, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Douglas W. McKay in 2002.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 20th from 4 - 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with cremation to follow. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1:00pm in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Road, East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
