John B. Anderson, 73, of 67 Williamsville Rd. , died Friday, November 14, 2003 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 46 years, Virginia A. (Peterson) Anderson, a son, Steven E. Anderson of Hubbardston, two daughters, Cynthia J. Anderson of Worcester and Debra L. (Anderson) Antonio of Barre and four grandsons, Michael, Joseph, Daniel and Matthew Antonio.
Mr. Anderson was born in Worcester on February 28, 1930, son of John A.G. and Stina C. (Erlandson) Andersson. John was a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran who served with composite squadron seven (VC-7) as an aviation mechanic. He later was a machinist employed by the Olson Manufacturing Co. in Holden for 40 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed fishing, jazz and big-band music, attending antique auto shows, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
