VESSELS, Joseph Bernard, 83, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was retired from Celanese Coatings and was a World War II Navy Veteran. He was a member of St. Clements Parish.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Larry Vessels (Janet), Lea Ann Vessels and Alan Vessels (Almeda); grandchildren, Laura, Brian, Katie, Joseph and Nicholas; and sisters, Nina Perkins, Mary Burns and Margaret Mills.
His service will be 11am Wednesday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 7718 Columbine Drive with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
