HAVERHILL: Donald J. Olesch, Jr., 53, of 17 Whittier Street, died unexpectedly at his residence on January 28, 2010.
Born in Haverhill on December 10, 1956, he was the son of Donald J. and Marion L. (Fowler) Olesch of Groveland. He was a graduate of the Pentucket Regional High School. He attended the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and graduated from Northern Essex Community College with a degree in civil engineering.
A person who loved dogs, nature and being outdoors, he spent much time fly fishing and bird hunting. He had recently taken up photography and was enjoying it very much.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Kurt C. Olesch of Orono, ME and a sister, Donna M. Bonin of Groveland.
His funeral service will be Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
