HAVERHILL: Lysabeth Ann (Lightfoot) White, 72, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in the Merrimack Valley Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan on July 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Marion R. (Richter) Lightfoot. She had resided in Detroit, Michigan most of her life before moving to Haverhill seven years ago.
While in Detroit, Lysabeth enjoyed working in radio at CKLW in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She also took great pride in being a wife and mother. A loving mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Christina Avenaim of California and Laurie and Ronald Mustone of Bradford; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Amanda White of Texas; her former spouse, Laurence W. White of Calhoun County, W. Virginia; three grandchildren, Emeralde Ann Seaton, James L. White and Nicholas J. Mustone; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Lightfoot; several nieces, nephews and dear friends, Phyllis Friedrich and Marylou Brown. She was also predeceased by her sister, Linda Makumsom.
Her funeral services will be held on Friday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 - 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Emmaus, Inc. P.O. Box 568, Haverhill, MA 01831. Interment will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
