Obituary

NEWTON, NH: Lillian (St. Louis) Eastman O'Donnell, 87, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in The Wingate of Haverhill. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Eastman and Frederick O'Donnell.

Born In Haverhill on April 25, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Becotte) St. Louis. Lillian was a resident of Seabrook, NH from 1948 until 1995, before moving to Newton, NH. She enjoyed wintering in Sebastian, Florida and her summers in Newton, NH.

She along with her late husband, Charles Eastman, co-founded the Eastman Fishing Parties Company in Seabrook. In her early years she also worked at local shoe manufacturing plants. Fishing was a big part of her life, she enjoyed fresh water and salt water fishing. She also enjoyed playing bingo, trips to casinos and camping with her family.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly A. and Ralph Sawyer of Newton, NH, a son and daughter-in-law, Charles W., Jr. and Linda Eastman of Vero Beach, FL, a sister-in-law, Doris St. Louis of Haverhill, a brother-in-law and his wife, Lester and Nancy Eastman of Sebastian, FL, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts Rd., Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458-1287.
