Mark D. Wyman, age 47, died Monday, January 5, 2009 in the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport following a brief illness.
Born in Haverhill on January 12, 1961, he was the son of Carol A. "Peg" (Cutter) Wyman and the late Robert M. Wyman, who died in 2000. He was educated in the Haverhill public school system.
Mark was employed as a machinist in the Seabrook and Newburyport area for several years. He had also once worked in the family business, the former Wyman Marine in Plaistow, New Hampshire.
In addition to his mother, Peg, he is survived by his dear friend, Christine McGinnis of Seabrook, New Hampshire, and the Tattan Family of the Northshore. He was also predeceased by his sister, Judith A. Wyman, who died in 2001.
His funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Interment will be held in the St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
