Eaton, Sylvia M. (Westwood), age 81 of Haverhill, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Penacook Place, Haverhill.
Mrs. Eaton was born in Boston on Feb. 1, 1927, the daughter of the late Norman F. and Dorothy (Coppin) Westwood. She was educated in the Ipswich schools and was a graduate of Ipswich High School. She had been a resident of Haverhill since 1962 and had been employed at CBS Hytron, Newburyport, and Bernie Shoe Co., Haverhill until her retirement. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Eaton Jr., who died in February of 1980.
She is survived by her four daughters, Cynthia A. Eaton of Groveland, Tammy J. Castine of Danville, NH, Linda Lewis of Louisville, KY, and Pamela Souza of Silver Springs, FL; her dear friend and companion, Grover C. Clark Jr. of Haverhill; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late William T. Eaton and John Allen Eaton.
Funeral Services were held Friday, February 8 in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. Rev. Marcus T. Crapsey, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Haverhill, officiated. Interment was in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
