Frascone, William N., age 81, of Haverhill, died Thursday, February 7, at The Oxford, Haverhill.
Mr. Franscone was born in Newburyport, on December 18, 1926, the son of the late Lorenzo N. and Fannie F. (Janvrin) Frascone. He was educated at the Immaculate Conception School, Newburyport, and was a graduate of Newburyport High School. He had been a resident of Haverhill for the past 51 years and previously resided in Newburyport.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. He was the husband of the late Dorothy E. (Smith) Frascone, who died July 10, 2006. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, AFL-CIO, until his retirement in 1990. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his two daughters, Fannie F. Dandurant and her husband Dennis of Haverhill, and Tia M. Roberts of Haverhill; his five sons, William N. Frascone, Lorenzo N. Frascone, Nicholas W. Frascone and his wife Christine all of Haverhill, George E. Frascone and his wife Donna of Bradford, and Robert E. Frascone and his wife Yvonne of Baltimore, MD; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Thomas E. Frascone, Sr., who died in 2004.
Private Funeral Services were held at the convenience of the family in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill. At the request of the family there were no funeral home calling hours.
