Jennings, Roy M., age 64 of Danvers, formerly of Haverhill, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Hogan Regional Center, Danvers.
Mr. Jennings was born Haverhill on September 19, 1942, the son of the late Leo H. and Elvelena B. (Bucklin) Jennings. He attended Haverhill schools.
He was employed in Haverhill shoe manufacturing firms. He had been a resident of the Hogan Regional Center, Hathorne section of Danvers, for the past 45 years.
One of nine children, he is survived by his niece Melissa Caruso-DeFusco of Haverhill; sister Betty Brunelle and her husband Ronald of Surfside, SC; brother in-law Frank S. Caruso of Haverhill; sister in-law Arlene Jennings of Bradford; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Jennings, Harold J. Jennings, John C. Jennings, Shirley D. Gamrecki, Loretta Bixby, Gloria Smith, and Elvelena B. Caruso. His family would like to extend their appreciation to those who have cared for Roy for many years at the Hogan Regional Center at Hathorne in Danvers.
His Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 18 in the C. Frank Linnehan and Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford. Spring burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill.
