Mrs. Frances Needham Westmoreland, age 80, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center.Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Surry county on May 20, 1930 to the late Fraudie Ellis Needham and Beuna Mae Cox Needham.Mrs. Westmoreland retired from Fairchild Industrial Products in Winston-Salem and was a member of Old Hollow Road Baptist Church.Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by two sons, Larry Westmoreland and Barry Westmoreland, both of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Kenny (Tracy) Westmoreland, Jody (Beth) Westmoreland and Tiffany Westmoreland; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Logan Westmoreland; three brothers, Ralph Needham of Kernersville, Ray Needham of Climax and Rex (Lois) Needham of Winston-Salem; one sister, Ethelene Needham; one sister in law, Lucille Pettitt of King; and several special nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death is her husband, Lawrence Edward Westmoreland.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Cox-Needham Chapel in Pilot Mountain, NC at 2:00 P.M. at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain with the Rev. Jimmy Bowden and Bro. Don Collins officiating.
