PRIDHAM, PFC MICHAEL SHANE "MIKEY" JR., 19, died while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom, July 6, 2010 in Qalat, Afghanistan. Mikey was a proud member of the U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment at Ft. Knox. He had attended Southern High School and earned his GED while in the U.S. Army. Mikey is survived by his wife, Deidre (Spencer) Pridham and their expected daughter, Aliyah; his father and stepmother, Michael Shane and Andrea Pridham Sr.; his mother, Keri Allen; brothers, Jeffrey Pridham, Joey Pridham, Kaleb Nix and Kaden Eskridge; paternal grandparents, Russell Pridham and Dave and Toni Frederick; maternal grandparents Bobby and Debbie Wheatley; father and mother-in-law, David and Tamarra Leitner; his fellow comrades of the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment at Ft. Knox; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Brandenburg, KY. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to time of service Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made in his daughter's name, Aliyah Pridham, at any PNC Bank.
