Obituary

Robert J. Jablonsky, Jr., 65, a resident of Pocasset, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 11. He was the husband of the late Dorothy R. “Dottie” (Green) Jablonsky. Born in Boston, he was raised in Roslindale. He attended Catholic Memorial High School and graduated from Roslindale High School. He also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Mr. Jablonsky was a resident of Pocasset for the past 7 years after living in Millis for 19 years. He was in the U.S. Coast Guard and a veteran of the Vietnam Era. Mr. Jablonsky was an engineer at Arneson Industries in Waltham for several years before retiring in 1992. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and playing softball.
Mr. Jablonsky was the son of Rosalee (Shelton) Jablonsky of West Roxbury and the late Robert J. Jablonsky. He was the brother of Deborah M. Jablonsky of W. Roxbury, Patricia A. Peterson and her husband Scott of Medway and the late Richard Jablonsky. He was the uncle of Danielle, Kimberly and Erik and the great uncle of Aydin.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Friday, July 16 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Donations in Robert’s name may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
