Obituary

Sara Lewis Foust, 101, died Monday, July 12, 2010,in Akron, Ohio where she had resided for the past 11 years. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Vigil Service will be 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday and Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Chapel in Clarksville. Memorial gifts may be made to the church in her name. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery immediately following the Mass. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George Thomas Foust, her daughter Mary Virginia Boesch, her mother, Mary Doran Lewis, father Adrian Lewis, four brothers and five sisters. She was the second of ten children. A life resident of Clarksville, Tennessee until age 90, she lived a loving and giving life, centered on her family and church. She was an exceptionally gifted organist, and served the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for over 50 very dedicated years. Mourning her loss, but celebrating her life are son, William Greg Foust (Jean) of Akron, daughter, Margaret Batey of Brentwood, TN and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Grandchildren are Michelle Foust, Christopher Foust, Kay Batey, Claire (Gordon) Manley, Teresa (Chuck) Abernathy, Mary Bradshaw, Al Batey, Robert (Jennifer) Boesch, and Paula Boesch. The family expresses their appreciation to her truly exceptional and loving care-givers at the Gardens of Western Reserve, & Hospice of Summa in Akron.
