Richard A.Vagnini, 79, a retired engineer for IBM, died Wednesday, July 6, 2010 in Florida. He was the son of the late Eespedito and Mary (Pandolfi) Vagnini.
He was a graduate of University of Rhode Island, earning his degrees in engineering physics and had worked for IBM in Vermont before retiring to Florida twenty years ago. He had also served in the Navy.
He is survived by his sister Mary Incerpi and her husband, Albert of Punta Gorda; his brother, Raymond Vagnini and his wife, Gloria, of Greenville, seven nieces and nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew.
Funeral Monday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Monday 8-9am. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
