Kellermann, Sara A. age 70, of Teaneck passed away on July 11, 2010.
She was born January 7, 1940 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to the late Boyd and Catherine Ford. She went to West Catholic High School and graduated nursing school from Camillus Catholic School of Practical Nursing. She married Joe Kellermann at Fort Sill Oklahoma and moved to Teaneck in 1964. She is survived by her son Peter Kellermann of Montana, daughter Ingrid Scanlon of Teaneck, brother Frank Ford of Virginia, niece Kate Karst (Ford), and nephew Ryan Ford of Virginia, a grandniece and 3 grandnephews. She served as a Medical Specialist in the US Army during the Vietnam War, was a nurse, a Teaneck crossing guard for twenty-seven years, and a kindergarten aide at Bryant School in Teaneck. Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM with a service beginning at 7PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The American Diabetes Association.
