Lillian M. Magoon, age 95 of Salem, NH died Thursday at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH.
She was born in Salem, NH and was a lifelong resident of Salem. She attended Salem schools and graduated from Pinkerton Academy. She also graduated from McIntosh College in Lawrence, MA.
She was an 81 year member of Pleasant Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Women’s Group at Church. She was a member of the Salem Seniors. Lillian worked as a medical secretary for Dr. William Greer and also at the former International Mills as a secretary.
She was the widow of Gerald Magoon, to whom she was married for 71 years. She was predeceased by 2 sons Norman D. Magoon & Arthur W. Magoon. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Phyllis Christopher.

She was pre-deceased by 4 sisters Helen Ebert, Mildred Tyler, Edith Fancy and Edna Watts.
There are 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home, followed by cremation.
