Rosalin (Grillo) Wordell, 78, of S. Dartmouth died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Hathaway Manor. She was the wife of Glenwood R. “Pete” Wordell, Jr.
Born in Westport, she was daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (DeCambra) Grillo. She was a coordinator for the Niagara Senior Center in Fall River. Mrs. Wordell was a life member of the VFW Post 9059 of Dartmouth Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the National Home for Children.
Including her husband, survivors include 3 sons: Peter Wordell of Westport, Bruce Wordell of Dartmouth and Scott Wordell of Fall River; 3 daughters: Glenda R. Wordell Souza of Dartmouth, Lorna Dias of Dartmouth and Robyn L. Wordell-Moore of CT; 5 sisters: Alice Diniz of Somerset, Mary Jane Mello of Fall River, Florence Conroy of Fall River, Virginia Turcotte of Fall River and Angie Goldstein of Westport; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Sunday 1 – 4 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
