Clifton A. True, 90 of Sandown, NH, died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mr. True was born in Sandown, NH on June 3, 1913, a son of the late Herbert W. and Gertrude S. (Pillsbury) True. He was a resident of Sandown for many years, formerly living in New Britain, CT . He was a graduate of Hampstead High School. He worked for many years at Stanley Tool Company in Connecticut. He was actively involved in several senior groups including the Forty Plus Club. He was a member of the Sandown Historical Society. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Parish, Hampstead, NH.
He is survived by his son, Peter D. True of Oregon, his daughter, Elizabeth S. Cobb of Florida, one sister, Hazel Rogan, one brother, Rudolph True both of Sandown, numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, memorial services will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is handling arrangements.
