Joseph, Nancy (Carle), of Charlton, MA, formerly of Peabody, passed away on June 30th at the age of 81. Beloved wife of George E. Joseph of Overlook Community in Charlton, MA. Mother of Harold E. Joseph and wife Jean of Wareham, MA and Claudia J. Macomber and husband Dr. William Macomber of Marblehead, MA. She was the sister of the late Harold Carle. Born in Boston to the late Harold A. and Alice M. (Macpherson) Carle, Nancy graduated from Hyde Park High Class of 1945. She worked for the First National Bank and the N. E. Caller (magazine) as a subscription editor. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Scituate. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 1 o’clock at the United Church of Christ in Norwell. There are no visiting hours and burial will be private.
