BEVERLY: Margaret L. (Walton) Orzechowski, 82, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 in the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Louis C. Orzechowski who died in 2004.
Born in Beverly on September 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Edith M. (Bright) Walton. She had resided in Beverly for many years before moving to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1988. She was a longtime member of both the Wenham Country Club and Port Charlotte Country Club, where she won many Women’s Championships.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen L. and Cheryl Orzechowski of Hampton, NH and Michael E. Orzechowski and Gail Penthany of Dover, NH, eight grandchildren, Kristin Moody of Dover, NH, Leslie Hilton and Lorri Orzechowski both of Newmarket, NH, Alida Bailey of Concord, MA, Sada Orzechowski of Boston, Ryan Orzechowski of Falls Church, VA, Shane Orzechowski of Burlington, MA and Michael Orzechowski of Alfred, ME, four great-grandchildren, Sarah Hilton, Jacob Moody, Elizabeth Moody and Iain Bailey and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Robert Orzechowski and a sister, Jeanne Morgan.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10th in the North Beverly Cemetery, (Rt. 97) Cabot Street at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
