Charles H. Andrews, of Quincy passed away on July 2, 2010. He was 78 years old.
Born in Boston, Charles worked for many years at Boston Technical High School. He was Chair of the English Department and a guidance counselor. Charles was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Charles was the dear and devoted husband of the late Lilly (Homsy) Andrews. Loving father of the late Stephen Andrews. Dear son of the late Joseph C. and Elizabeth (Devlin) Andrews. Dear brother of Mary Boen and her husband Wallace of Brockton, Grace Garlick of Watertown and her late husband Frank, Elizabeth Hart of Dorchester and her late husband James and the late Anna Andrews, John Andrews and Joseph C. Andrews Jr. and his late wife Barbara. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Homsy and the late Leo and Sally Homsy. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Charles' Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church in Milton July 7, 2010.
