Thornton, Julia (Foley) of Jamaica Plain, June 30, 2010. Julia was born in Carna, County Galway, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Julia was predeceased by nine sisters, Mary Keaney, Bridget Cunniff, Catherine Gorham, Margaret Swale, Anne Cunniff, Norah Foley, Helen and Celia Foley and Penn Gorham. Julia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Jamaica Plain. At Julia’s request visiting hours were omitted. Interment was private.
