Fackelman, Joseph Salvatore age 20 of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Maywood died Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Beloved son of Donna and Thomas Fackelman. Cherished brother of Nicholas and Erika. Loving nephew of Joseph and Grace Criscione, Sandra and Dennis Faro, John and Sally Fackelman, Jim and Cheryl Fackelman, and Mary and Bob Whitman. Dear cousin of Kimberly, Jennifer, Jacob, Lucas, Matthew, Anthony and Alexander. Loving grandson of the late Nicolina and Salvatore Criscione and Hilda and John Fackelman. Joe was a caring, kind and compassionate free spirit who was loved very much by his family and many friends. His memory will be cherished and he will be immensely missed by all who knew him. His creativity and artistic talents were on display through his drawings and each time he sat at his drums. On other days the neighborhood kids would watch in awe as their idol wowed them with his skateboarding skills. Joe was a graduate of Hasbrouck Heights High School and was currently a student at Bergen Community College. He was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Hackensack where he was active in the youth group. He had also reached the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 12. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, July 2, 7-9PM and Saturday, July 3, 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. A memorial service for Joe will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 11AM at the Second Reformed Church of Hackensack, 436 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ.
