Obituary

WORCESTER: Dorothy E. (Maynard) Wyman, 90, of 64 Uxbridge St., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Marlborough Hospital, after an illness. Her husband of 28 years, Harrison P. T. Wyman, died November 6, 1974.
She leaves 2 sons, Fred T. Wyman and his wife Julie of Kentwood, MI, Harry M. Wyman with whom she made her home; 3 daughters, Flora A. Willett of Oxford, Nancy E. McCarthy and her long time companion Everett White of Worcester, Janet F. Pereira and her husband James of Kissimmee, FL; 2 sisters, Mildred Patt of Amherst, Helen Rice of Deltona, FL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born in Holden, daughter of the late Ervin L. and Elizabeth (Harrington) Maynard. She lived in Rutland and was a graduate of Rutland High School. After getting married, she moved to Worcester where she lived for more than 60 years. She was a long time member of Adams Square Congregational Church and its Women’s Fellowship Group. She was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed being the central focus of her family. She also enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics.
