Mrs. Mildred Louise Kranz, 76, of Hamlet died Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Britthaven of Hamlet.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2010, in Jesus First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Lovin officiating. Interment will follo in Richmond County Memorial Park.
A lifelong resident of Richmond County, Mildred was born in Hamlet on March 5, 1934. She retired from Georgia Pacific, and was a member of East Rockingham Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kranz in 1981.
She is survived by two sons, Donnie Kranz of Rockingham, William Kranz of Hamlet; two daughters, Helen Idol of Rockingham, Beverly Kranz of Cheraw, SC; a brother, Mitchell Elvis of Hamlet; a sister, Earline Sweatt of Hamlet; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8:00 at Russell-Marks Funeral Home and at other times at 131 Garrett Street, Rockingham.
