MARLBOROUGH: Annemarie Anziano, 43, died on Friday evening, June 25, 2010 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Meriden, CT on Sept. 8, 1966 the daughter of Janet C. (Cassata) McGilvray of Marlborough and the late Robert A. Anziano.
She was the wife of James D. Strand of Marlborough. Besides her mother Janet McGilvray, she was the step-daughter of William “Doug” McGilvray of Marlborough. She was the sister of April Anziano of Hudson and John R. Anziano of Gill. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She has resided in Marlborough for the past seven years and previously in Framingham.
Annemarie spent her formative years in Meriden, CT and graduated from O. H. Platt High School in Meriden. She received her BS in Psychology from Framingham State College and for many years was associated as a case manager for the Justice Research Institute of Framingham. She loved music and attending concerts with her sister and friends. Annemarie enjoyed writing poetry, being in the outdoors and walks in the woods with her husband James. She was a kind and loving person and always enjoyed being with people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
A prayer service will begin at 6:00 pm to celebrate her life.
Private family interment will be held at their convenience in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
