Obituary

Kenneth “ Ken” Templeman of Plymouth, passed away on June 24th at home after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63. Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Bonnie (Laugheed) of Plymouth, his sister Cindy Chadd of Greencastle, IN; his nephews Chad and Ryan Evens, Richard Rawles of IN, his niece BobbEtte Kimbrell of FL and one great niece of IN. He also leaves his cousins Lad Robinson and Bruce Wilson of Greencastle, IN.

Ken was born and raised in Greencastle, IN; graduating from Greencastle High School and Indiana Central Business College. Ken was drafted into the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he was the Commander of the 1542 Infantry Unit and he received the Bronze Star with Valor Device and 1 Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a member of the Elks and VFW of Greencastle and VFW of Plymouth. Ken owned and operated multiple jewelry businesses for over twenty years. In his free time, Ken enjoyed golfing and gardening.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday June 30 at the New Testament Church of Cedarville, 1120 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth. MA at 7:30PM. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road (Rte 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 5-7PM prior to the service. A private burial will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers his family requests that donations in his memory be made to Homes for Our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton, MA 02780; or to the Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Center, 275 Sandwich Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
