Harriett E. Tolan age 87 of Peoria formerly of Germantown Hills passed away at 11:15am Thursday June 24, 2010 at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria. She was born Aug.31, 1922 in Green Valley Il, to Harry P. and Hazel P. (Murray) Volk. She married Glenn W. Tolan July 10, 1954 in Peoria. He passed away July 5, 1986.
Surviving are her children; Linda (Tim) Everett, and Sharon (John) Ulrich both of Peoria, Bud Trent of Fairbault MN, and Bob Trent of E. Peoria. 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Harry P. Volk Jr.
Harriett was a Homemaker.
Services will be at 10:00am Tuesday June 29, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Rev. Mark Douras officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5pm until 7pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery in Metamora. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com
