Obituary

Constance “Connie” M. (Corelli) Weissbach, 76 years old, a resident of Lowell for over 40 years, died Thursday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness.
Born in Arlington, MA, she was a daughter of the late James S. and Leatrice (Manchester) Corelli and received her education in the Arlington schools graduating from Arlington High School in 1952.
For over 20 years Mrs. Weissbach worked as an Electrical Assembler for Key Tech in Lowell. Connie and the ladies she worked with would often travel together and became know as the Steel Magnolia’s. She and her husband Joe loved their vacations to Florida especially to Anna Maria Island. Even though she had a career in Electronics, Mrs. Weissbach was a loving Mother, Grandmother and family woman and deeply loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph “Joe” R. Weissbach of Lowell; four sons and three daughters in law, Joseph R. Jr.and his wife Mary of Lowell, Carl F. and his wife Kerry of Lowell, James L. and his wife Lisa of Dracut and Paul M. of Lowell; three daughters and two sons in law, Janice Conole and her husband Len of Dracut, Dianne Weissbach and her companion Kassy Mazzone of Lowell and Sandra Palmitesta and her husband Nick of North Reading; her grandchildren, Aaron, Liam, John, Christopher, James and Brenna Conole, Philip, Scott and Edward Valliant, Vincent, Brandon, Brett, James Jr. and Danielle Weissbach; two great grandchildren, Jennifer and Liam Conole; three brothers, James Corelli and his wife Linda of Lakewood, CA. Dominic Corelli of Chicago, IL. and Richard Corelli; a sister, Janice Huntley and her husband Bill of Madison, NH; a brother in law, Lawrence Weissbach and his wife June of Billerica and several nieces and nephews.
WEISSBACH- Relatives and friends may call on Monday June 28, from 3 until 8 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH STREET,(Rte 38). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesdsay June 29, at 10 am at St. Michael’s Church. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01840.
