Phyliss M. O’Connor, 81, passed away on June 24, 2010. She was the widow of Lloyd E. O’Connor of New Kingston, NY. Born in Hingham, MA, she was daughter of the late Francis and Olive (McCawley) Heffernan. She had been a resident of Hallmark Nursing & Rehab in New Bedford, MA, to be close to her daughter, Jane O’Connor Sousa of Westport, MA.
Including her daughter, survivors include her son Daniel O’Connor and his wife Chrystal of Williamsburg, VA; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Mrs. O’Connor was also the loving mother of the late Randall L. O’Connor and the late Edward A. O’Connor.
Burial is at New Kingston Valley Cemetery. Services are to be private and held at a later date.
