Robert K. “Bobby” Tate
Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, June 23, 2010, Robert K. “Bobby” Tate, 81, husband of the late Frances Wolfe Tate.
Mr. Tate was a native of the Augusta area. He served in the US Navy and was retired from the Olin Company. Mr. Tate was a member of the Faith Community Church.
Family members include sons: Robert Edward “Eddie” Tate and wife Cindy of Mitchell, GA, Johnny Michael Tate and wife Ann of Milledgeville, GA, grandsons: Banks Tate, Justin Tate and Kyle Tate all of Augusta, sisters: Georgia Rodgers and husband Earl of Zebulon, GA, Shirley Garrard and husband Randolph of Brooks, GA, daughter in law: Joy M. Tate of Evans, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Wayne Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
