FALL RIVER … Eugene Ochwat, 81, of Fall River died unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
He was the husband of Lillian (Hart) Ochwat.
He died at St. Anne’s Hospital, Fall River.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late John and Anna (Miseczka) Ochwat and had been a life long resident of this city.
He was employed as a carpenter with the Fall River School Department retiring in 1996 after 20 years of service. He worked for the former Weyerhauser Corp. formerly of Portsmouth for 15 years.
Mr. Ochwat was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his widow, 2 daughters: Cheryl Ochwat-Labrie and Lisa Ochwat both of Fall River, 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Labrie of Fall River and Jennifer Labrie of Assonet, 2 nieces. He was the brother of the late Bronislaw Ochwat.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 10AM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 5 – 8 PM. Interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
