Anna M. Kraus, a life-long Somerville resident, died June 21st at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover NH. She was 87. Anna was born and raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Esther (Underhill) Reilly. A devoted wife and mother, Anna enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late Douglas D. Kraus, she was a devoted mother to Douglas Kraus and his wife Phyllis, of Billerica, Russell E. Kraus and his wife Rita, Kathleen Catineau and her husband Ronald all of Somerville, Arthur E. Kraus and his wife Elaine, Gerard Kraus and his wife Elaine all of Derry, NH, Ann Marie Chiccarelli and her husband Lewis of Billerica and Janice Arnold of Portsmouth NH. Loving grandmother of 19 grandchildren and the late Kristina Marie and Arthur. Loving great-grandmother of 20 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Claire McNally of Woburn, Lillian Ballou of Hudson, NH the late Arthur, Janet and Dolly Reilly.
A funeral mass was offered Friday, June 25th in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, at 10 AM. Services concluded with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
