Glenda Kay Roberts Whittle, 54, of Tifton died Monday, June 21, 2010, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Worth County. Rev. Donnie Wright and Rev. Dan Robinson will officiate with burial to follow at Pine Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Worth County. Mike McBrayer will serve as honorary escort. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 24, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Whittle was born on May 30, 1956 in Adel and was the daughter of Glenn Roberts and Geneath Arrington Roberts, both deceased. She was the business administrator at South Georgia Medicine in Tifton and was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Worth County.
Mrs. Whittle is survived by her husband, Van Whittle of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Brooke Whittle of Griffin; one daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Adam Guarnieri of Ty Ty; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Annette Roberts of Reynolds and Bill and Denise Roberts of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Jackson Whittle of Griffin and Tyson Guarnieri of Ty Ty; and her step-mother, Faye Gill Roberts of Tifton.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Tiftarea.
