Betty Seagroves McCollum, 69, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday evening, November 8, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, November 11, 2003, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Monday evening.
Ms. McCollum was born August 27, 1934, in Fitzgerald to the late W.C. “Bobby” Seagroves and Lillie Mae Brown Seagroves. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress with Custom Sportswear. Ms. McCollum was a former employee of the Monarch Company and H.R. Kaminsky and Sons.
Ms. McCollum is survived by daughter: Vicki Graybill, Fitzgerald; son: Gerald Dozier, Fitzgerald; sister: Shelby Nicholson: Fitzgerald; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
